Lost Deer in Esher

I happened upon this unusual tweet this morning from a concerned Esher resident, Richard W: "Deer on the run on Grove Way, Esher. 2 miles from Bushy Park. Called police. RT and lets see if we can track it." You don't often see deer on the streets of Esher and residents were right to be concerned. Police officers were called to Grove Way in Esher at around 7pm yesterday evening as worried neighbours tried to help a lost deer that was wondering the streets of Esher. As people moved closer to help it, the animal took fright and ran off. The deer has not been found but it is thought it came from Bushy Park. If you see it then call police as it could run onto a busy road and cause an accident.
